We recently had some discussion about the directory for the local repository.
Currently, lilycontrib uses ~/lilypond/, which may conflict with an installed LilyPond directory. Should we change the directory to ~/lilypond-git, or ~/lilypond-src? It's trivial to do in lilycontrib.
