Okay, thanks to Joe spotting the cause of the memory corruption (of course, stupid shadowing in connection with STL templates is bound to create errors and crashes that are almost impossible to track down) I now have an updated patch available that properly fixes midi playback: http://codereview.appspot.com/174080 With this patch, the MIDI output generated for all various ties (closed, unended, tieWaitForNot, etc.) is exactly the same as the PDF output. Okay to apply this to git? Do we have any way to the the midi output for regressions?
