After a second look, this isn't the problem at all, since only one bookpart is used in that regression test. The missing page numbers in the table of contents are causing these errors. If you added one more \tocItem, you would see another error. Hmm... I should be able to figure this out, but I need to learn how the TOC stuff works internally. Another regression test causing problems is page-label.ly, BTW.
