It seems that \layout { \context { \Lyrics \override VerticalAxisGroup #'minimum-Y-extent = #'(0.5 . 0.5) } \context { \Staff \override VerticalAxisGroup #'minimum-Y-extent = #'(-1. . 3) } } does not have any effect any more. - -) The staves are really crammed together. - -) The cue text (bar 35) seems to be differently aligned in 2.13.x than in 2.12.1. That has probably nothing to do with the vertical layout engine, but still something that is noticable.
