There's a file scripts/auxiliar/fixcc.py which claims to "nitpick lily's c++ code". If that script works, let's use it. If it's broken, let's either fix it or junk it.
I must admit that there's unfortunately no "fixscm.py" file, which is what we'd need to avoid the initial tabs-vs-spaces discussion.
