Yes, but since window users will already be faced with an unfamiliar environment, we might as well set up the build system for them. **IF** somebody wants to do this. I'm not going to quibble with whatever distro somebody wants to put on this, but if I went with Debian, I'd expect the entire thing to be less than 700 megs, including the git source.
