I wasn't saying that kainhofer.com is part of the normal docs. I was saying 
that the file is included in the git tree (i.e. it's not an external file) and 
is thus built just like the rest of the documentation

Where can the latest docs (i.e. 2.12.2) be found on lilypond.org???
How often are they updated?
BTW, "latest development version" still points to 2.11.65...

Actually, I prefer using kainhofer.com, since the URL is much simpler and the 
docs are the start page (rather than having to go through two additional 
clicks on lilypond.org)...

It's a cronjob that runs automatically, and I'm notified of build errors, but 
have not hassles otherwise.

Also, I'm still running the link checker as part of the cron job:
http://kainhofer.com/~lilypond/linkdoc/
So, this might still be useful for the translators (broken links and anchors)
