Exactly what I was thinking during those interminable rants on the user list. I'm not a developer but I've been using the latest devel version for the last year on Linux, Windows Vista (brief tests only), and Mac OSX 10.4. The only issues I ever had were the speed problems you mentioned on Vista and those got ironed out with the daylight-savings-time fix. For what it's worth, I vote "it's ready."
