Not that I know of. It would definitely be VERY useful (in particular, your 
scores would no longer be locked in to lilypond, but could be imported to 
Finale/Sibelius/etc. too).

The main problem is that once lilypond has done the layouting, there is no 
link from the layout objects to the music object. Since MusicXML should also 
contain the positioning, that would be quite some work (and some deeper 
restructuring of lilypond) to implement.
The easier way would be to export just the music content (of course including 
all articulations, lyrics, markup, etc., but no layout information). This 
would require hooking in to the music stream and convert that. Even that is 
quite some work, and I don't know how well this could be later extended to 
include the layout information, without having to completely rewrite it from 
scratch...
