Hi Ralph

I actually quite like properties indexed in a different way to other things, 
but for consistency maybe we should remove
the @code{  }.  Just to be sure though I'll copy to -dev for comment.

Here's another update.

Starting with line 2021 in the updated (attached) file, I encountered 
index
entries unlike any I've seen before:
@cindex @code{ . . . }
Is that correct syntax for an index entry? My inclination would be to use
@cindex X-offset
for example.
