(off-topic) Why did you have to build it? The binaries don't work anymore? If so, maybe you can (when you have a minute) write a short how-to, which could be much useful for some users or regression-testers... Just to document the possible compatibility issues, workarounds etc. Maybe this could be added somewhere, for example as an appendix to the Program Usage Guide?
