John,

This is excellent. I want to let you know about the Lilypond page in the Wikipedia:

Subject: Resource list: wiki started

Hi,
I've just started a wiki at http://wikihost.org/wikis/lilypond/
It now contains only a small start page and the famous "resource list".
I hope it corresponds to Bruce's initial wishes, doesn't it?
(yes, I haven't put the images, I may do it later...)

I believe this wiki has bigger chances to survive than the former ones,
because there are now much more LilyPond users than in then past (say,
when LilyPond 2.2 was out), aren't they?
Moreover, I am ready to widely extend it, for example creating "LilyPond
traffic" pages, which summarize the most interesting topics in the
mailing lists.

Of course, every LilyPond user can edit these pages (if I've properly
set the settings...), unless I decide to lock them.

Here's what may/should be done now:
- update the links to the older wiki (which is broken), such as
http://lilypond.org/wiki
- create a link to the wiki in lilypond.org.
- annouce the wiki creation in lilypond.org news and/or on the user
mailing list.

Please tell me your reactions.
