I guess. These problems were solved by making sure that pango and
lilypond link to the same dynamic library for fontconfig.
Also, how come that it's so hard to make LilyPond find the fonts
for dynamics and fingerings when it finds the basic feta fonts for
the music symbols without problems?
because texts (pfa-alphabet fonts) are found through pango + fontconfig,
while the music font is hardcoded to Emmentaler.
