The good news is that I have written a lot of music combined with lyrics, first using addlyrics and later using lyricsto. The only thing I can think of right now is that lyricsto adds flexibility to combine lyrics and music in any combination e.g. lyrics above music where addlyrics is somewhat simpler to use. But I don't know if there are other differences as well? Other fonts? other algorithms for aligning? other spacing between lyrics and music? Those kind of things I do not know; but maybe there is some else who knows more about these differences. > > 3.
