The NOTICE file is the absolutely worst place for this as it’s an append-only must-not-be-removed requirement of the Apache 2 licence which I always found questionable in the first place… if it’s only used for legal notices that must stick with the code already anyway it may be tolerable, but putting anything else in there is IMHO not different from CC’s ND clause, or GFDL’s invariant sections. bye, //mirabilos -- Gestern Nacht ist mein IRC-Netzwerk explodiert.
