Actualy a Ubuntu question, not a libvirt question… What I do in these cases, I download the packages manualy from http://packages.ubuntu.com
And instead of just doing this with the libraries, why not also with libvirt it self? This method doesn’t guarantee a correct working of the installed packages. I’t better to upgrade your Ubuntu to a version which has the correct package versions in the repositories.
