ncurses 6.4 can be built with libtool when configured with `--with-libtool`
option. I found that while building with libtool 2.4.6 it was successful,
building ncurses with libtool 2.4.7 fails with attached error.
+ cd ../obj_lo
+ libtool --tag=CXX --silent --mode=compile c++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H
-DBUILDING_NCURSES_CXX -I../c++ -I. -I../include -D_DEFAULT_SOURCE
-D_XOPEN_SOURCE=600 -DNDEBUG -O2 -c ../c++/demo.cc -o ../obj_lo/demo.lo
mv: 'demo.o' and '../obj_lo/demo.o' are the same file
make[1]: *** [Makefile:268: ../obj_lo/demo.lo] Error 1
In the attachments, there are:
* ncurses 6.4 config.guess
* log of successful configure and make of ncurses 6.4 using libtool 2.4.6
* log of failed configure and make of ncurses 6.4 using libtool 2.4.7
