I can't approve, but it does appear to fix the mdemo-make failure on MinGW/MSYS. Running full test suite (MinGW/MSYS) now. Should be finished in four or five hours. Then on to the mdemo-exec/MinGW/MSYS problem as discussed in the other thread. -- Chuck
