In core/sc/source/ui/app/inputhdl.cxx, ScInputHandler::GetFormulaData() I ruthlessly filled pFunctionData from pFuncList instead from pMRUList, and that seems to work fine for the tips. But I haven't checked for other places where pFunctionData is used.
