Ah, I assume you take those jars from a LO 3.6 installation, in which case you will indeed run into a problem that will first be fixed in upcoming LO 4.1.4, see <http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?h=libreoffice-4-1-4&id=c17453ed05aeef42e2e16c4df5f48e1a757d109f> "binaryurp: silently ignore superfluous MUSTREPLY/SYNCHRONOUS flags."
Alternatively, you can run the example against jars from a LO 4.x installation.
