For GNOME3 I added an "ApplicationID" as http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=2aee1633048bcb732a5c1917580d305afa54e5ef and http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=e9daae2025279d04155ddeb794bb35952e627ed7 in order to make GNOME3 consider all the "writers" different toplevel window groups to all the "calcs" etc. The windows code to do something with that however is just an empty stub.
