Dear LibreOffice Developers,
I hope you are all doing well. My name is Palak Sinha, and I am currently a
2nd-year B.Tech student in Computer Science. I have a strong interest in
open-source development and am eager to contribute to LibreOffice, particularly
as a part of Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2025.
My technical skills include C, C++, Python (basic), HTML5, CSS, and databases
like MySQL and Oracle. I am also experienced with tools like GitHub and VS Code
and have a strong foundation in Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) and
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). I am particularly interested in improving
software performance, debugging, and developing new features.
I have recently subscribed to the developer mailing list and joined the
#libreoffice-dev IRC channel on Libera.Chat under the nickname PalakS. I would
love to get started with beginner-friendly issues and gain a deeper
understanding of the LibreOffice codebase. Any guidance or suggestions on where
to begin would be greatly appreciated.
Looking forward to collaborating with this amazing community!
Best regards,
Palak Sinha
