Awesome, thanks! This change ReReReReverts and fixes the issues. As it
now also dyncast-asserts the static_casts in SwIterator, it _should_
work with ubsan too:

so I'm unfortunately not able to give that a try locally. (It is
apparently based on a parent from the range of known-broken master
revisions, which cause UBSan to fail anyway, for a number of reasons.)
