It is telling that when I asked what you prefer, you answered that the extraneous information “doesn't hurt “. Your tolerance to noise may be higher than many, but it’s a well-established fact the less clutter in the UI, the faster it is for humans to use. Gitiles is fails here, takes longer to load, requires additional clicks, and is missing search tools and branch tags.
