I want to contribute to libreoffice

Hi, I am Amey, im a cse-ugrad from iiit-h, I found this email id through 
gsoc page, I dont know how to get stared. I have a decent knowledge c++ 
because of competitive coding, and I have learnt python before. Id be 
really happy if you can tell me how do I proceed.
