        Sure - but in this case I'm going to add back some uses of nType in a
few minutes so ... ;-) it's easier to have to delete a line than re-type
nType [sic] ;-)

        Of course, C-style commenting out the variable can have the same
effect, but often looks like more hassle to me :-)
