Hello, I did some initial review of the patch. It works really nicely. It would be great if somebody more knowledgeable in this area confirm and push - thanks a lot!
Some nitpicking: isEmpty() seems to be accidentally replaced with getLength(). @Winfried: Thanks a lot for the patch. Its really cool (at least for me :) ). In the meanwhile, it would be really great if you could pick more such hacks that interests you?
