I bumped cppcheck from git upstream today. You can see what it found at
http://libreoffice.boldandbusted.com/ .
Some unorganized, just-a-glance-worth's of stuff that looked shiny:
* There's memleaks, leakNoVarFunctionCall, resourceLeak,
memleakOnRealloc errors afoot.
* There's syntaxErrors errors afoot.
* At least some of the "duplicateBranch" findings appear to be false
positives.
* Lots of the usual nullPointer error findings.
* A metric ton of cstyleCast style findings.
