remove dead comment.
The code that this comment documented was /* ... */ commented out
in 2004 commit ed9a3e51ef9353dd028126496a1a105570dc48a2
That dead block of code was removed in 2010 commit
6eb5f64fd829338614d12212ad9c03ec616f3436
but they didn't take the comment out with it.
