Hi, I'm working on Implementation of Legacy SAX parser with XFastParser project (Mentors: Meeks and Noel).
As a first phase, we are writing comprehensive tests for our old parser and XFastParser interface. So far, We have created some test xml files in sax/qa/data and parsed them with old parser to create a string ( https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/#/c/24883/ ). We then handled namespaces to generate a cononicalized string ( https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/#/c/25468/ ). I'm working on implementing XFastParser and related APIs for testing, hopefully I can finish that and start with the implementation of mapping legacy parser with XFastParser by the end of this week.
