Not sure about that - this is an up to date version of 14.10. Also not certain that it's a VM issue, I think it's unlikely to be a hardware problem (at least, I hope not!).
One thing that is consistent is that it always fails on an OpenCL test. It is very odd that I can run make after the error presents itself and it continues on as if no problem has occurred.
