No need for the "From now on" and the it refers to "this file" (judging from the original German comment, not by any code, i.e. swicli.c includes cmdid.h - and thus the contents end up in c-context and thus c++-style stuff will cause problems. But then again, there is no swicli.c file, but a swinterf.c that includes it.
