            Bug ID: 150809
Summary: Language list in Help should not be translatable
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.4.0.3 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Documentation
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: tuomas.hiet...@iki.fi
                CC: olivier.hal...@libreoffice.org

Description:
The language names in the language list in the upper left hand corner of Help
(when viewed online) are currently translatable in Weblate. IMO this is
unhelpful. For each language, its endonym should be used.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endonym_and_exonym

This is how the initial setup of operating systems, televisions etc. usually
works: the list of languages includes e.g. "English", "suomi" and "日本語", not
"English", "Finnish" and "Japanese".

Rationale: If I don't understand e.g. Bulgarian, I wouldn't understand the
endonym of Bulgarian in the language list. But if that were the case, I
probably wouldn't want to switch Help to Bulgarian anyway. And if, for some
reason, I end up viewing Help in Bulgarian, I would be hard for me to switch
to a language I know, if all language names are translated to their Bulgarian
language exonyms written in Cyrillic script.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to https://help.libreoffice.org/latest/en-US/text/shared/05/new_help.html
2. Switch the language to e.g. Bulgarian.

Actual Results:
The list of languages is displayed in e.g. Bulgarian.

Expected Results:
The endonym of each language is used in the list.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No
