Bug ID: 148226
Summary: Add Edit style buttons in Footnotes dialog
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
estilo).
[EN]
Editing the styles that format the Footnotes and/or Endnotes becomes quite
complicated because you have to enter their name in the dialog box to edit
their characteristics (in the Tools menu) and then find the style.
It would make it quite simple to customize its format just by adding buttons to
edit the style chosen from this dialog (just as they allow you to edit a
secondary style from the style's edit dialog itself).
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Clic on Tools menu.
2. Clic on Footnotes and Endnotes option.
3. See style name
4. Close dialog.
5. Locate the style in the list of styles in the sidebar.
6. Right click on the target style.
7. Click Edit.
8. Change the features.
9. Confirm changes.
Actual Results:
Edit style for footnote or endnotes.
Expected Results:
Reduce to:
1. Clic on Tools menu.
2. Clic on Footnotes and Endnotes option.
3. See style objetive style.
4. Click Edit stle button.
5. Change the features.
6. Confirm changes.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
Additional Info:
Reducing the clicks or the number of steps to do something increases the user's
productivity and allows them to have a better feeling about the program they
are using.
