On Hackfest Hamburg, April 2018, we have decided to start a project for
improving handling of layers and internal structure. In case you start to work
on this issue get in contact with Regina ([email protected]) or Armin
([email protected]).
We have agreed on the plan, to introduce a new property "display-name", so that
the layer-name shown to the user is independent from the internal name. Because
it is a large project, a quick fix is unlikely.
