Still an issue as of 6.0.2.1.
Opening the large spreadsheet in excel format takes much longer than in the
xlsx format.
Again, issue is made much worse by the way in which progress bars appear.
"Loading" progress bar starts appearing only halfway through the opeining,
meaning that the user for ~ half a minute only sees an apparently hung screen.
