So with the issue is already there - at the full extend - with two documents
and only typing? I'm aware of spontaneous hangs (bug 103126, 103571) related to
multiple open documents, but there needs to be some contextual change and the
hang is dependent of the amount of documents open.
Some contextual changes:
*Disappearing reappearing of the dock (Auto-Hide mode)
*Waking from sleep
*Making the font color toolbar float (not available in 5.3/5.4)
*Minimising or restoring one or more LibreOffice documents to or from the dock
