Summary: Can't replace all the underlined text with nothing
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
When replacing all the underlined characters with nothing, the popup will show
how many occurrences were replaced, but no underlined characters are actually
removed.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the test file.
2. Open up the "Find & Replace" dialog.
3. Enable "Regular expressions"
4. Click "Attributes"
5. Enable "Underline"
6. Make sure that the "Replace with" field is empty and put ".*" in the search
field.
7. Click "Replace All"
8. A dialog is shown but nothing actually happens.
Actual Results:
A dialog is shown showing the number of times the key has been replaced.
All the underlined text is selected.
None of the underlined text is actually replaced (removed).
Expected Results:
A dialog is shown showing the number of times the key has been replaced.
All the underlined text should be replaced.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
Additional Info:
I set the different home directory, so that I could switch to English without
affecting my present UserProfile, I believe it's the same as running from a
clear installation.
