no... the bug 108835 reported by Cor was a completely different issue than the
one I reported here.
anyway, let's keep this one as RESOLVED regarding the "incomplete display"
thing...
I'll open a new clean bug report about the "data loss" I experienced and
described in my initial report after more testing with 5.4.x and 6.0.x
