Palette handling has been reworked completely. You do not load a list, which

Toggle buttons are indeed a non-conform solution to the issue that we had

Your input is of course very welcome. If you have a good suggestion how we can
replace the toggle buttons by a different control except tabs please file it as
another enhancement ticket.
