Note that you can also toggle by running from the command line:
SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gtk libreoffice
SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gtk3 libreoffice
SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen libreoffice
SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=kde4 libreoffice
