Bug ID: 102841
Summary: No launcher icon for Snappy build
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: All
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: trivial
Priority: medium
Component: LibreOffice
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:49.0)
Gecko/20100101 Firefox/49.0
Build Identifier: libreoffice-5.2.1.2-snap1
After opening any LibreOffice application (the Snappy builds), the generic ?
launcher icon appears for it rather than the actual LibreOffice launcher icon
(which, strangely, does appear in the Dash).
Obviously this is Ubuntu/Unity DE specific, if someone could install Snappy on
a different Linux distribution (or DE) and see if that also has a missing icon
in their distro/DE's launcher then that would be useful.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install the LibreOffice Snap onto Ubuntu
2. Load LibreOffice (the Snappy build)
Actual Results:
A ? icon for the LibreOffice window appeared in the toolbar
Expected Results:
A LibreOffice icon for the LibreOffice window appears in the toolbar
I recognise that the LO snap is WIP packaging but thought I should log the bug
anyway
Specs:
Lenovo ThinkPad X201
Intel Core i5 CPU M 520
3.7GiB RAM
64-bit
