Likely a profile issue, but first...
When opening multiple documents on launch, if one hangs, the others will as
well.
First, check in Task Manager that no soffice.exe/soffice.bin continues to
run-"end process tree" for any still running.
Then open just one of the spread sheets allowing it to fully launch.
Then launch a second.
Close both, and check Task Manager--if Quckstarter is active an soffice.exe and
soffice.bin will be present (personally I find Quickstarter useless, so I don't
install it, and suggest it can be removed). Otherwise no
soffice.exe/soffice.bin should remain.
Finally, I would delete or rename your LibreOffice profile,
%APPDATA%\LibreOffice,
it will rebuild with defaults on next launch of LibreOffice.
Launch LibreOffice once to ensure a user profile with defaults.
Then restart system--do your eight spreadsheets open on restart?
Make those adjustments and post back--set this issue back to UNCONFIRMED or
resolve NOTABUG. Thanks.
