I am currently using Libre Office Version: 5.0.4.2 Build ID: 2b9802c1994aa0b7dc6079e128979269cf95bc78 and the document still opens as blank. On my laptop, which runs Ubuntu 15.10 and Libre Office Version: 5.0.5.2 Build ID: 1:5.0.5~rc2-0ubuntu2, the document opens with bold, italic text, which is not the text it was saved with.
