JoSe0126 <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEEDINFO |UNCONFIRMED Ever confirmed|1 |0 --- Comment #2 from JoSe0126 <[email protected]> --- Hi, Libreffice 5.0.0.5 is running as 64bit Version on my desktop pc with windows 8.1 64bit. I used 'til now only Apache OpenOffice (actually last Version 4.1.1). I installed the LibreOffice the first time 2 days ago. I received the MDB-file from a friend two days ago. He is working with MSOffice2007. First he send me the ACCDB-file, but i couldn't open it in LibreOffice and also in OpenOffice. Then he send me the file saved as a MDB-file (MSAccess2000-Version). I started LibreOffice an tried to open the file with the integrated conversion-module. When LibreOffice tried to open the converted file it crashed. Then LO started a restore and crashed again. Same method with the Apache OpenOffice 4.1.1 was succesful. After working in the Database for a while, I saved in OO as a ODB-file. Now it was possible, to oben in LO. So, I think, the problem is in the LO-module to convert and open MSAccess-files. Passing by the steps, I wonder, why I couldn't open the ACCDB-file (wether in OO nor in LO). The MDB-file contains 4 tables only without any formulars, reports or querys. There are no special connections between the tables. This is a bug. kind regards JoSe -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
