Please would you mind trying to import these as UTF-16 into your LO 4.2.4.2 (please ignore the fact that the text is corrupted in the preview). Just be aware that with the large file you will probably need to kill the process. I am just wondering if there is any difference between 4.2.4.2 and 4.3.0.4 in the way how this is handled.
