--- Comment #5 from James Craig <[email protected]> --- While my post is awaiting moderation, I looked into the cause, and it appears to be a regression, which may help: In the attached list-restart.docx, all items of lists A and B, and items 2–3 of list C, use the same w:numId, so they share one counter. This seems to come from “sw: reduce duplication of w:num items” (https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/193164), which changed AttributeOutputBase::ParaNumRule in sw/source/filter/ww8/ww8atr.cxx. When a paragraph’s list id differs from its list style’s default list, it previously called DuplicateAbsNum(listId, …), which gives each separate list its own numbering, and now reuses GetNumberingId(*pAbstractRule), the style’s shared w:num. If that’s right, 25.8 should export the test file correctly and 26.2 onward would not. A possible fix may be to keep the new reuse only when listId == pAbstractRule->GetDefaultListId(), and to call DuplicateAbsNum otherwise, which would keep the reduction in w:num entries while separate lists keep their own counters. I haven’t been able to build and test this, so I offer it only as a pointer. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
