--- Comment #29 from Christian Lohmaier <[email protected]> --- bisected it to 0b35782617f09914a9e6bd01941ee249446cc135 / https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/201842 / tdf#171340: use UTF-8 on Windows 10 (1903) and newer That is to tell that UTF-8 should be the active codepage to use for LibreOffice process on Windows ( https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/apps/design/globalizing/use-utf8-code-page ) Of course that alone doesn't explain why there's a difference in the order of operations… One potential fix might be to also use the same setting for the builtin python runtime since that is basically the only case I think there might be a mismatch that causes things to go awry. Also of course doesn't really explain why it doesn't happen with German UI for example, but with Bokmål and Turkish… (a bibisect wouldn't have found the exact change since the above change to makefile rules only would not have resulted in a rebuild of affected files) As undoing that change doesn't seem the right thing to do, once could think of a workaround to silently open the dialog on each launch to prevent the issue or similar if no proper fix can be determined short-term. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
