--- Comment #21 from Eyal Rozenberg <[email protected]> --- (In reply to BogdanB from comment #20) > Writer table styles were bad implemnented before 26.8, they are bad > implemented now in 26.8, so the best compromise is to offer a way to avoid > table styles. It is not possible to avoid table styles. Every table has a style - just like every paragraph has a style and every list has a style. If we create a table with "None" (say, the 2x2 table aa,bb;cc,dd), we get: ... snip ... <style:default-style style:family="table"> <style:table-properties table:border-model="collapsing"/> </style:default-style> <style:default-style style:family="table-row"> <style:table-row-properties fo:keep-together="auto"/> </style:default-style> ... snip ... <office:automatic-styles> <style:style style:name="Table1" style:family="table"> <style:table-properties style:width="17cm" table:align="margins" style:writing-mode="lr-tb"/> </style:style> <style:style style:name="Table1.A" style:family="table-column"> <style:table-column-properties style:column-width="8.5cm" style:rel-column-width="32767*"/> </style:style> <style:style style:name="Table1.A1" style:family="table-cell"> <style:table-cell-properties fo:background-color="transparent" fo:padding="0cm" fo:border="none"> <style:background-image/> </style:table-cell-properties> </style:style> ... snip ... </office:automatic-styles> ... snip ... <office:body> <office:text> ... snip ... <table:table table:name="Table1" table:style-name="Table1"> <table:table-column table:style-name="Table1.A" table:number-columns-repeated="2"/> <table:table-row> <table:table-cell table:style-name="Table1.A1" office:value-type="string"> <text:p text:style-name="P2">aa</text:p> </table:table-cell> <table:table-cell table:style-name="Table1.A1" office:value-type="string"> <text:p text:style-name="P2">bb</text:p> </table:table-cell> </table:table-row> <table:table-row> <table:table-cell table:style-name="Table1.A1" office:value-type="string"> <text:p text:style-name="P2">cc</text:p> </table:table-cell> <table:table-cell table:style-name="Table1.A1" office:value-type="string"> <text:p text:style-name="P2">dd</text:p> </table:table-cell> </table:table-row> </table:table> </office:text> </office:body> So, the table has an implicit DF style, on the basis of the default table style. And that's what our UI should reflect. Plus, the trnasparent background, lack of border and table alignment mode should be part of the default table style, not part of the DF. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
