During the installation, it prompted to restart the system regarding OpenJDK Platform binary, which I followed. After upgrading to 26.8.2, LibreOffice now launches successfully and opens .xlsx files perfectly without any crash! Checking the About dialog, the UI render has changed to "Skia/Raster".
